Here are some more pictures of Disneyland etc. Enjoy!

Year in Review
Well I tend to go in spurts with my blogging.:) You'll not here from me forever and then you'll get a slew of information. Well today is no different. We don't have internet access and so I'll try and update this while I am mooching off of the laundry mates free wireless.:) So many things have happened in the last few months that I thought I would try and say a little about everything. Well first off we got married last May and I can't believe it has almost been 9 months! (And no, I am not having a baby any time soon for those who were hoping for a honeymoon baby:)) The last 9 months have been great except for the crazy decisions we are having to make lately. We think we have FINALLY!!!! found a place to live in Ohio. I had no idea it would be that hard to find a place with just looking online. I think both Mike and I thought it would take just one look and we would be done. Now, after looking at hundreds of options we have finally made a decision. YEAH!!! That is a huge load off of our shoulders. Now we just have to pack and drive across country.(That will be the easy part.) O.K. now I am getting ahead of myself. To back up, for Halloween we hosted a murder mystery dinner night with a few friends. It didn't turn out quite like we expected, but we had a lot of fun. Mike was inspector Cluedau and I was Dame Agatha (Christy). The pictures are pretty funny. We then had a very busy December. Michael graduated from Utah State University in Food Science and that was very exciting. We were able to have the Sharp family come to Logan to celebrate with us. It was wonderful. We had such a fun 1st Christmas. We spent Christmas eve and morning with my Mom and brother Daniel which was so nice and brought back wonderful memories. We then went and enjoyed a fun evening at the Sharp family Christmas party. They have a fun talent show and Mike and I pulled out our banjo and violin. It's been awhile for me so it was good to try and play the violin again. It was so nice to be able to spend Christmas with both of our families since we are not sure what the future will bring and how often we'll be able to get back for the holidays. Hopefully though! After Christmas we went on a whirlwind and last minute trip to California. We went to DISNEYLAND!!! We both hadn't been there since we were really young and figured that this would be the last chance we would have to go in awhile. We left on Wednesday, spent Thursday at Disneyland, and then headed back, staying at Merilee and Mark's that night and then finished our jouney on Friday to make it back for the Jazz vs. Celtics game at the Energy Solutions Arena. I was a crazy and fun trip. We had a lot of help from my brother David in order to be able to go which was very nice of him. Our camera died and so we don't have too many pictures.:( Well, ever since we've been back we've been preparing for our move to Columbus, Ohio. It is a scary adventure and the decisions have been pretty stressful at times, but it is all coming together. The Lord is truly blessing us at this time. There are so many changes that happen in life, and it is so nice to know that everything will be o.k. with the help of the Lord. The passing of President Hinckley is a perfect example of this. Although we will miss him, it is such a blessin to know that the work continues to move on and President Monson, as well as the rest of the apostles will lead us to where we need to be at this time. We are so blessed! Well, that was a lot of information, but I wanted to get something out before we leave in 5 weeks. I can't believe how fast the time has flown. We sure will miss everyone. Take care until next time:)

Ohio State here we come!
Well, as you can see from the heading of this post, we have finally made our decision for Grad school and we will be going to Ohio State. We will be leaving in March. It is so nice to finally know where we will be going so that we can make plans and prepare. It's also nice that we won't be leaving until March because that will give us plenty of time to prepare, but not too much time to just wait around. We're sad to be leaving family and friends, but it will be an exciting adventure. I can't believe that it is November already. I am sooo excited for the holidays. This has been a pretty busy week. We went to Frightmares on Monday and then on Halloween we had a murder mystery dinner party. It was fun, but a lot of work. Mike played Inspector Cluedeu, a spin off of the Pink Panther detective, and he was definetly the life of the party.:) This weekend I am down at David's watching the kids. They have been so good. It's nice to be able to spend time with my nieces and nephews before we have to leave. Mike has a pretty crazy weekend as well. First, he helped move a piano and then he went to Bradleys hockey game. He has a ton of homework and a lesson to prepare for as well. I guess it's good for us to keep busy when we have to be apart. Well, that's it for the Sharps this week. Take Care!

5 little facts or habits
O.K. so I was tagged by my sister Jackie to respond to the question of "5 little known facts or habits about me". This may be a little bit difficult for me since it is hard for me to talk about myself a lot, but here it goes. I may be able to convince Mike to do this to, but we'll have to see.:)
1. Like Jackie, I also have a little bit of OCD. (Perhaps not as extreme:)) No, I am crazy when it comes to scribbling on paper. I can never scribble because I will then have to fill it all in until it is completely black and there is no ink left in my pen,:) It gets to the point where if there is even an uneven line I HAVE to make it straight. I gets pretty annoying. Good thing I am not in school anymore.
2. My family will know about this one, but when I was 5 years old I was hit by a car. I asked my brother to tell me when to cross the street so that I could go and talk with a friend of mine. When I was finished talking I felt awkward just standing there, and my brother was taking forever to tell me when to cross back, so I just decided to go on my own. Come to find out there was a reason he wasn't telling me to cross the street. I ended up in traction, and a body cast for a few weeks. I was really lucky. My poor brother got blamed for it though....I don't know where my dad would have gotten that idea from.:) It's good that we can laugh about it now.
3. I have an addiction! I am addicted to food. I love to eat and I love to cook. It is horrible and I could never be anorexic because I love food too much. I guess I have the opposite problem. I love going to different restaurants and trying new foods. It is a hobby of mine, when we can afford it. I guess it is good that I have someone to cook for now, but now he has to share in my addiction. Good thing we are getting an elliptical.:)
4. When I was young I either wanted to be a Zoo Keeper or a Cheese Maker. Mike had to make cheese all day yesterday and he was soooo bored, but I thought that it would be the funnest thing ever. Have you ever seen the Mr. Rogers' episode where they go to the cheese factory. That was going to be me. I would have also loved to work with the animals, as long as I was only playing with them and giving them their food. No clean up work.
5. My favorite movies are Inspirational sports films. Everyone laughs because I am not your typical girl. Of course I am always up for the great "chick flick", but you can always sell me on "Remember the Titans", "Field of Dreams", "Miracle", and the list goes on. I guess Mike was lucky in that regard, but he's pretty good at watching anything. He's very well rounded.
Well that's it for me. Anyone else up to sharing?

Better Late than Never
So Sorry that it has taken so long to post another blog. Jackie got on my case about not hearing anything new so here ya go. Life is great! We had a great weekend in which we were able to go down to Salt Lake and spend some time with family and friends. First, we went to our brother in law Brians art exhibit. It was very exciting. We are proud of him. We then went and spent some time with Mike's buddies from High School. It was good for me to meet them and get to know them better. We then were able to go to Sammy's birthday party. It has been awhile since we've gotten together with the Sharp side of the family and so it was great to see them. I'm so excited for the holidays because then we'll get to see a lot of our families. Well, as for me, I am just working and Mike just passed the half way point of his last semester of Undergraduate school. Yeah!!!! We are still trying to decide where we are going for grad school. We have a great opportunity at Ohio State in which we would be leaving in March, but we are STILL! waiting to hear back from Cornell. We finally found out that he had been accepted, but they are still working on finding him a professor to work with, so that they can provide us with more information as well as an offer. Hopefully we'll know before the end of the month. There are definite pro's and con's for both schools and areas, but I know wherever we decide to go it will be for the best. AHHHHHHHH!!!!! I can't believe we are moving, and so soon. I'm still getting used to the idea. It's not real to me yet. Well, we are getting a new addition to our family this coming week.... an ELIPTICAL!!! I'll have to send some pictures:) We are also going to Frightmares and so I'll let you all know how the new ride "Wicked" is. O.K. that's a ton of information for now, so we'll let you know how everything turns out. Take care everyone:)

The Roof and Matt's Eagle Scout
September was a pretty busy month for us. We were able to go to the Roof Restaurant in Salt Lake City which was very nice. I have always wanted to go and since it was closed on our Honeymoon, we thought we might as well go while we could. The dessert was the best part.:) After dinner we headed south to attend Matt's Court of Honor. He received his Eagle Scout award and we are so proud of him. Mike made his singing debut, and was amazing. We were glad to be a support to Matt. It was a great weekend made up of good food and family.
Gilbert
About a month ago Mike bought me a plant for our 3 month anniversary. He is now our new pet, and Mike's favorite play buddy.:) Here are a few pictures of the two having a great time. They enjoyed playing catch, fishing, and Gilbert even took the car for a spin. It seems someone had a little too much time on their hands. :)
