Spring to Summer Photo Dump #1

We had a fun Easter, we had to color some eggs and Emma obviously got a little extra in the process.:)

 Our backyard looking pretty Good for once.  We trimmed and mulched everything this year.

 We had an amazing time at Murray Family Farms this spring.  They didn't have our traditional blueberry pancakes, but we did go for their "Cherry Festival".  Emma ended up eating hundreds of Cherries, as you can see by the juice all down her shirt.  We all had a good time eating all you can eat cherries, listening to the entertainment, going on a hayride to pick berries, face painting, pie eating contest and more.  Oh, they have a butterfly house and we were there when they released some new butterflies.  It was crazy, they have them wrapped in an envelope and then let them go.  Awesome photo op.

 Vivian and Gordon LOVE to wrestle with each other.  We see this quite a lot!

 We got to bring this awesomeness home with us. :)  It's been great having Melodee live with us.  (I don't know if she realized what she was getting herself into with us crazies, but we love having her)

 Vivians birthday dinner at IHOP on her actual birthday.  She was a little confused on her actual birthday since we celebrated 2 days before with her BIG party.  She enjoyed the icecream regardless.

 We went up to the church's girls camp lodge for a couple days and had a lot of fun.  These photos are from the dance party we had the first night we arrived.  Everyone was getting into it and having a great time.  Luckily Marnee had a great selection of songs and was great at getting everyone involved since she is a dance instructor.

 You HAVE to click on these photos to get a close up of the kids' faces.  Here we are at the Trail of 100 Giants.  You can get a little bit of an idea of how HUGE these trees are.

Yay for family photo!  Emma found that walking stick and wants to take it with her camping from now on.

 The kids worked for most of the day on this skit and show for Melodees birthday.  It was hilarious!  Here I am trying to help Vivian to sing "Let it Go".  She wanted to sing it, but HAD to have the background music.  I tried to tell her that we didn't have access to the song and all she had to say to that was, "Just call Google!"

 Sunset at the beach.  It was a little chilly, but it made the ocean water seen warm.  Beautiful nights at the beach house.  (Matt and Evelyn to our right)

 O.K. so these photos pretty much sum up Vivian and Gordons relationship.  These were taken when we went out to dinner one night.  Oh, they sure love each other.

This summer we put some time into our yard and finally decided to get a patio cover.  It has been nice having the shade and a table to sit at.  I just love when our flowers are in bloom.  These photos were taken BEFORE it got HOT and everything shriveled up.
