For Spring Break Mike took a couple days off to help with Emma's party and so we could get away for a couple days. Our first day we headed up and went to the Fresno Zoo which is a mommy favorite. We then traveled a little bit further north to a mountain city just outside of Yosemite National Park. The kids had a lot of fun swimming in the pool and we enjoyed our beautiful night in the mountains. The next day we headed up to the park. We had heard so many wonderful things about Yosemite that we were very excited. Unfortunately since it was spring break many other people had the same idea as we and it was very crowded. It was beautiful, but hard to really have the time to appreciate nature with all the people. I'm sure if we would have had more than just an afternoon and older kids we didn't need to nap and that had the endurance for hiking it would have been better, but Mommy was ready to get on our way when the time came. :( Perhaps in the future it will be different. We'll see. The kids had a great time bouldering with daddy and checking out the "caves". They're pretty lucky to have him. It was a nice weekend including Conference which is always wonderful when we get the opportunity to listen. :)
These next photos are actually from the zoo. There is a "trolley" there and since Vivian LOVES Daniel Tigers Neighborhood, riding the trolley was the highlight of the trip.
He is loving his chance to play on the grass. He has a really strong grip so he was mowing it down pretty good. :)

I've never even heard of Daniel Tigers Neighborhood... I'm out of the loop now with little kid shows! I love how no matter how far or where you travel, the hotel pool is always a highlight! :)
So fun! I can't believe how long and platinum blond Emma's hair has gotten. We sure are excited to get to see them soon. :)
