(The Posting Blitz continues)
So we started a ballroom dance class on Tuesday. It was really fun, pretty good, and fairly cheep. We get to go 4 times for $20. Tuesday we learned the Fox trot, Western Swing, and some other move. There were only 4 of us, so we got some real one on one attention. We figure that by the end of these 4 lessons we'll be ready to try out for So You Think You Can Dance.
In other news, we splurged for the 10 dollar bunny ears from Radio Shack that will only let us watch TV for the next 6 months before everything goes digital. It's been worth it to watch our favorite reality dancing show. We thought that last night's show was especially amazing. Our favorite routines were the white costume one, and the modern one with Gev. In other news the misses is warming up to the idea of a cat. The finger crossing seems to be working.

Oh, don't get me started...the only reason we got cable was to see this show...I LOVE IT!!!!! I really liked the 2 dances that you did, and I really liked the broadway routine as well. Those were my favorites. I think the 1st and last dance and the salsa were the worst ones. Oh, she was terrible at the salsa...it was painful. I think she and her partner will go this week. And boy was Mia riled up!!! Oh boy! And Nigel did some pretty weird stuff yesterday. It was an interesting show.
I LOVED the dance with Gev, and also loved Matt's and the other utah guy who reminds me of Benji. I thought that Mia was PMSing WAY BAD! She didn't have much positive to say about anyone but her "favorites". I don't like her as a judge or a choreographer. I Love Twitch and I think he or Joshua will win.
Ditto on the girls comments, except that I really like Mia. I agree with Kim about Twitch - he's too cute. But, the utah guy who reminds her of Benji is nowhere near as cute as him - he annoys me and I hope he doesn't go too far, knock on wood :-) My favorite couple is Katee and Joshua. I've loved both of their dances so far (their one last week gave me shivers).
And - just for a walk down memory lane, season two had the BEST dances ever! (Allison and Ivan contemporary by Tyce - my all time favorite, also their umbrella hip hop dance, and the Heidi and Travis' bench dance by Mia, too many more to list) Good times. . .
Oh, and regarding the true reason for your post - way to go!! I bet those classes are fun. I'll look for you on the show next year.
Okay, so this is my favorite show of all time, but I am actually a little disappointed with this season. I feel like some of the dancers got picked only to get raitings, which I am sure they probably did since it is a tv show. I am happy to see so many dancers from Utah on the show this year though. I don't have any favorites yet, but I can tell you who I don't like. I hate Suzy! She drives me crazy. I hope she goes home this week.

Cats are great, they clean themselves, dont need to be walked, and you dont have to run around with a pooper scooper- that is all found in one place.
They love you unconditionaly, when they feel like it.

I have missed a couple of episodes of So You Think You Can Dance. Marnie records them for Melodee and I and then we watch them when we can get up to Salt lake to get the video. It is a delayed process. Can't wait to see the one you are talking about.
That show is soo entertaining to watch! I haven't really watched it this season though! I think it's awesome you guys took a dance class! If Jon had more time right now I am sure that we would join you in your next enrollment in dance lessons...if there is a next time for you guys :)
