Daddy Daughter Time

So here is a video finally of Emma. We were actually able to find a time when she was awake and not screaming.:) She has been having a rough time feeding this past week which in turn has given us the test of patience. I'll admit that at 3:00 a.m. when she is screaming for 45 minutes straight that I have been ready to give up, but luckily she has a great dad that helps make the time easier. It's amazing how well she will calm down for Mike. Unfortunately this means that all of the fun quality time is with dad and all the frustrating horrific time is with mom. We are sure hoping that it will get better because we are trying everything we can. We are also hoping that in a couple weeks when she reaches her gestational age that things will start to click more. Anyway, she sure loves being with her dad and we both appreciate his patience with us. Hope you enjoy the video. Sorry the picture quality isn't the best.

It's fun to see video, thanks. It's hard when you don't know what they want or need, isn't it. I think you're right though, things will get better with time.

That is so sweet! She was so awake and alert. How cute! Hopefully the feeding and crying gets better soon for you. I remember Sam crying all night long. I was able to get him to sleep, then 2hrs later, he was crying again. It did get better, and it will for you too.

I totally relate Amy- when Austin was about 4 weeks old I could pace the apartment, feed, rock, change... you name it... and nothing could stop him from crying. Eric gets home and holds him for a minute- instant peace. AMAZING!

She is super sweet and don't worry you'll get your Mommy time!

I totally understand. Annadele does the same thing. Although we have had to supplement her feedings because she wasn't getting enough from me. So now dad gets to help feed too. She sure is cute. I can't wait for our daughters to meet.

Look how little her hands are compared to Mike's and her eyes are so blue!
