What's a La Ja Te?

I found this gem of a video when we were making the recording of Emma. I sure love Amy. Enjoy!

It's a ballet step right? Jete means "to throw" and you throw your leg!(listen to me all lame with my French, like I actually remember something... and I can't even figure out how to type accents...ANYWAY)

'Twas beautifully done Amy- I must say. What a gal! :)

The La Jate reference is in gentle mockery of the high school drill team...right? Is it the arm clapping? Whether or not Amy executed the "la ja te" in question, it was a pretty funny clip.

Jen got it right, La Jate was the West Jordan high school drill team, although what had happened is I made up a dance move, called it a La Jate, and asked Amy to repeat it on camera. This video is a result of Amy making fun of the dance move I made up.
